Volunteer Opportunities
Conference volunteers play a vital role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone attending the Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference. Volunteers support essential on‑site operations and help ensure the event runs efficiently from start to finish.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals from across Canada are welcome to apply; however, Diabetes Canada and CSEM do not cover travel or accommodation costs. There are no physical requirements, and Diabetes Canada welcomes applicants of all abilities and backgrounds.
Volunteers who contribute a minimum of 12 hours will receive complimentary conference registration.
Volunteer responsibilities include supporting attendee check‑in, session entry, and general on‑site coordination.
